Quick and Easy Ground Beef Recipe

This is a simply delicious ground beef and noodles recipe that you can whip up in a short time. It’s easy to prepare if you are tired after a busy day. All you will need to whip up this tasty dinner is ground beef and egg noodles. It is light and my favorite meal when I’m short on time. You can have dinner on the table in just 30 minutes.

Since this recipe is a quick one, you will need to gather your ingredients to get started. Your main ingredients are 1 pound of ground beef and a pack of egg noodles. The best thing about ground beef is that you have the option to season it in the pot while it cooks. I love ground beef because it is so much easier to cook than other meat dishes.

How to make Saucy Ground beef and Egg Noodles?

To cook Ground beef, place your skillet on the stove and allow to heat for about 2-3 minutes. Add vegetable oil, chopped yellow onions, minced garlic and ginger and mix for about 1 minute. Add ground beef and salt and mix thoroughly. Cover and allow to cook for about 5 minutes. Drain excess oil from ground beef using a large metal strainer. Place ground beef back into the skillet. Add peas and carrots (or mixed vegetables frozen) and allow to cook for about 2 minutes. Now put in your tomato sauce and stir in thoroughly. Add chive or green onion, chopped pimentos, and Maggi seasoning if using and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

To cook your egg noodles, place a pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Add salt and egg noodles and cook as directed on the package. Make sure egg noodles is fully cooked, drain and set aside. To your heated skillet or pot place vegetable oil.  Stir in chopped onions, minced garlic and ginger. Add cooked egg noodles and mix thoroughly using a thong or wooden spoon. Add sesame oil and mix for about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Sprinkle dried or freshly chopped parsley and mix thoroughly. Serve with saucy ground beef and garnish with grated Cheddar, Parmesan, or Mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients for Ground Beef

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Maggi seasoning optional
  • 1 cup peas and carrots (frozen)
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 1 yellow onion small, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion (scallion or chive) chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 pimento pepper diced

Ingredients for Egg Noodles

  • 1 pack egg noodles cooked (12 oz/340g)
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 onion small, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger fresh (finely minced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley dried or chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional

  • Add salt and egg noodles and cook as directed on the package. Once Egg Noodles are fully cooked, drain and set aside. 
  • Using a skillet or pot, allow it to heat for about one minute, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil. 
  • Add chopped onions and stir for 30 seconds, then add minced garlic and ginger and allow to cook for another 30 seconds. 
  • Add cooked egg noodles and mix thoroughly using a thong or wooden spoon. Add sesame oil and Italian seasoning and mix for about 1 minute. 
  • Remove from heat. Sprinkle dried or freshly chopped parsley and mix thoroughly. 
  • Serve with ground beef and garnish with grated cheddar, parmesan, or mozzarella cheese.
